Golden Age of Zep Tepi | Kemet | Egypt

The sun beat down mercilessly on the golden sands of Egypt, shimmering and dancing like a mirage in the distance. The air was thick with the scent of incense and the sound of chanting, as the people of ancient Egypt gathered in the courtyard of the great temple of Hathor.

The walls of the temple were adorned with intricate carvings and paintings, depicting the goddess in all her majesty – her cow horns and sun disc headdress, her flowing robes and golden scepter. She was the patroness of love and joy, and her temple was a place of celebration and worship.

As the high priest began the ritual, the crowd fell silent, their eyes fixed on the altar where the statue of Hathor stood. 

It was said that when Hathor was pleased, she would bless her devotees with her presence. And so, the people waited with bated breath, hoping to catch a glimpse of the goddess they so dearly loved.
